GTX 1050 ti

I have two monitors. Both work perfectly fine individually but once plugged in together only one is detected. My primary monitor is plugged in using DVI-D and the other is using HDMI. When I plug both in together The HDMI monitor is the only one detected. I am plugging them both into my graphics card, which is up-to-date with drivers. If more info is required please feel free to ask and I will try and fufill your requests. Thankyou for helping.

Solution
Ended up fixing this, I got a new 24" 1ms 144hz Monitor and it came with a new DVI cable as well. Plugged the new DVI cable into the new monitor and plugged in the HDMI monitor and it is now working like a charm. Strangely though, the old busted DVI cable only stopped working indefinitely once I installed windows 10.
Maybe the monitors are detected but not used by Windows? With both monitors plugged into the GPU, right click anywhere on the windows desktop, go to the Screen Settings. In the settings window, are the two monitors shown? If so, at the bottom of the screen there's a section called "Multiple screens" (or something like that, my Windows is not in English). Select the monitor that is not working, and in this list select "Extend desktop". Hope it helps! :)

When I have both monitors plugged in only the monitor using HDMI is detected. When I disconnect the HDMI the DVI-D Is detected and used. I use the DVI-D as my primary monitor and the HDMI monitor is the one I'm using as secondary. Hope this extra info helps.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say that a monitor "is detected" or "is not detected", hence my previous question (to go into "Screen settings" and check there whether both monitors are shown or not). The OS may detect a monitor and not use it (in which case it's a configuration problem), or it may not be able to see the two monitors at the same time (then it's a hardware problem, because your GPU should be able to use three monitors at the same time). Sorry if the questions seem stupid, but as i don't know your level of expertise, i have to assume you have none. So...

If you only have the DVI monitor plugged in, and you open this "Screen settings" window, and then you also plug the HDMI monitor, what happens in the "Screen settings" window? Does the HDMI monitor show but the DVI disappears?

When I open "Screen Resolution" and then plug in the HDMI Monitor, Only the HDMI Monitor displays(Also tried process in reverse). Further more, when both monitors are plugged in, I go into NVIDIA Control Panel, and only the HDMI Monitor is shown as connected(Same issue in Device Manager>Monitors). I attempted plugging the same monitors into a separate machine and it worked without a hitch.

More information of my PC:

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77-D3H

Hope this helps

This beats me, sorry. Both monitors work individually, and even together on another machine, but not on yours... I really have no clue what it can be; there are still ideas to try out, but it may be a time loss.
It could be a drivers problem, so you could try using DDU (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/faq/id-2767677/clean-graphics-driver-install-windows.html) to remove current drivers, and then reinstalling latest.
Maybe reinstalling windows?
As i say, this beats me, i'm sorry i couldn't help more.

Thank you for trying,

I have already already reinstalled my drivers, I even uninstalled the GPU and reinstalled it. I would like to avoid reinstalling windows because I don't currently have a install disk and would need to buy one.
