Dual Monitors not working

Hey, I recently bought a new "Nvidia GTX 970 SC" and I wanted to use two monitors which are both "Samsung Syncmaster SA300's". They both have VGA slots only. The two monitors used to work perfect with my old graphics card which was a "ATI Radeon HD 5870" which had two DVI-I (Dual Link) connectors. I was using two VGA to DVI-I adapters and it worked. Now with my new graphics card only the VGA to DVI-I connector is working, not the DVI-D(Dual Slot) slot. I'm using a VGA to DVI-D adapter but it doesn't seem to be working, I've tried uninstalling my drivers and what not. Is it even possible to spoof VGA to DVI-D?

The card also has other slots but I'm not sure if they'd work with VGA:

1 x Dual-link DVI-I
1 x Dual-link DVI-D 1 x HDMI 2.0 1 x DisplayPort 1.2

I know HDMI doesn't work as I've tried it before (I think anyway)

Thanks!

EDIT: Just googled "VGA to DisplayPort 1.2" and this came up:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/StarTech-DisplayPort-1-2-VGA-Adapter-Black/dp/B00JQJV4OC
I wonder if that'd work.

Solution
All the 970s ive seen only have 1 port that supports an analog monitor(dvi-i using a dvi to vga adapter). For a 2nd analog monitor you'll need an active converter to convert a digital signal to analog. Do youll need either a dvi-d,hdmi, or displayport to vga converter. A cheap passive adapter will not work.
Example of what you need.

That conveter you posted should also work.

Yep, it's an old CRT but they were great monitors back in the day.

Hey man, do you think this one will be okay?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00MCGMHW4?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A1ZKG9B72CK840

The StarTech one is pricey and it's even more to ship to Ireland, the one I linked above is half it's price.

The audio part wont work if the video card doesn't support audio through dvi and you will need a microusb cable to power it(its not included with it). Here's one that costs less and comes with the usb cable.

Yea man, I was thinking that. I seen that one you posted but didn't buy it because it had no reviews, there's another one by Camac, which is this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Camac-Source-Monitor-Adapter-Converter/dp/B00MCES67Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1453394875&sr=1-1&keywords=Camac+DVI-D+24%2B1

It has reviews saying it's working and it's a small bit extra, do you think the one I posted would be fine?
Cheers again.

I'm not sure what you mean by a microusb cable for power, is it something to do with ***Power Free*** in the title? Should I just go with the amazon link you posted?

So, If I bought the one you posted, I would NEED a microusb separate for it to work? If yes, would the more expensive StarTech one need a microusb as well?
