Dual monitors with DVI-I (Dual Link) and HDMI issue

I have just built my new PC from scratch and have got two BenQ GL2460HM's set up one using DVI and the other using HDMI both coming from my EVGA GTX 970 GPU. The monitor using DVI works fine and I have setup the dual monitors using that one. It detects the HDMI monitor acts as if it is working except the screen is blank and it says "No Cable Connected!". I can move my cursor onto the other screen and drag windows onto the other screen except it is blank.
