Hey guys. Recently I tried to connect a second monitor on my PC, it is an old LCD monitor that has only one VGA connector. I have a 1050 ti from Gigabyte (which has only HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI-D outputs, one of each), my main monitor is connected to the HDMI output, so I tried to use the old monitor connected to the motherboard onboard video . I did not succeed on the first attempt, as I expected, since mobo disabled the onboard video because the offboard card was installed. But through the BIOS I activated the onboard video as the primary display and after Windows started I got video on both monitors, which made me very happy, although after that, Windows shows less RAM than I actually have, because its using some MB to the onboard video (I think), which is not a big deal for me.

My question is: Using both monitors in this way can cause any damage to some component of my computer?
