Please help: I have two old vga monitors. One of them plugs into my VGA port on the video card and works. The other plugs in via a DVI adapter to the DVI port on the video card and doensn't work. The monitor lights up when I plug it in so some interaction is happening, but it doesn't get detected by Windows 7 or Catalyst Control Center. Please help. Should I use an HDMI to VGA adapter instead of using the DVI port for the 2nd monitor? Thanks.

Solution
Try unplugging the vga and just using the DVI adapter, if that works, then the VGA and DVI are sharing on the card and you have to use only one of them and the HDMI.
