I just recently purchased a Radeon R9 380 and am trying to get dual monitors to work. Nothing I do seems to make it able to detect the second monitor. I tried having them both on DVI and and then my primary on hdmi and my secondary on DVI and that didn't work either. Any help would be apprecaited. Thanks.

So with both monitors plugged in (ports don't matter), and you then right click on an empty spot on your Windows desktop and click on "Display Properties", what do you see? Hopefully you'll see two rectangles marked "1" and "2". Click on both rectangles and make sure Multiple displays shows Extend or Duplicate.

There isn't a 2 on the second square under properties it just says that another monitor isn't detected.

So if you click on the second square, what options are available? There should also be a "Detect" button or option you can use. If you click on the second square, what options appear in Multiple Displays? Is there an option to "Extend" the display?

What version of Windows are you using?
