Question Dual non-SLI/NVlink dedicated GPUs

ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4 (Bios 3.90); 2060 in PCIE2 slot, 1060 in PCIE4 slot.

Upgraded from 1060 to 2060 but forgot that the new graphics card is not compatible with my current high refresh rate monitor.
Thought that I could have it configured the same way as a gaming laptop usually is (iGPU + dGPU), but for some reason Windows doesn't consider RTX as a high performance card compared to GTX.

Currently both GPUs are being utilized in 3D applications but are performing extremely bad. NVidia Control Panel (432.00) doesn't have any options to force a specific GPU for a specific application.

How to make RTX 2060 as the renderer for specified applications and GTX 1060 as the default renderer for anything else with monitor connected to it?
What is the performance hit?
What is the compatibility and consistency of it overall?

Seems like Microsoft designed Windows's Graphics settings app specifically for iGPU+dGPU configuration. That wasn't made clear anywhere. Probably the same case for NVidia's Control Panel.

Possible ways from here:

• Reprogram Windows if it's just hidden but technically supported.
• VM machine with GPU passthrough. Performance loss guaranteed on this system, potentially creates more problems.
• Change hardware to compatible one.
