I was just wondering something. We've just recieved some new Compaq W8000 workstations that ran Dual P4 Xeon 2 Ghz with 512MB RDRAM800. I was thinking about installing the latest Flask Xmpeg and try to encode some Divx. Would the Dual Xeons out perform a single P4 2.2Ghz? I mean it sounds kinda obvious that the dual Xeons are more powerful, but does Flask Xmpeg support dual cpu operations on Win2000? If so, would the performance gap be big? The reason I'm asking this is because we also have a P4 2.2Ghz PC, so I just want to get the best performance without having to unnesessarily install Flask into every system.

I don't think it supports dual CPUs, but you could encode two movies at the same time, and it'd work beautifully.
