Dual Pentium 4

Intel says that they are not going to support dual processing with the pentium 4 processors. Can anyone give me any reason for them not to do this? I think if I want a dual 2GHz machine I should be able to have one!

Its called Pentium 4 Xeon, if you want SMP. Regular P4 is not SMP capable.
