Dual screen setup but one is grainy

I have two polaroid monitors setup next to each other. The one using the VGA and its adapter is crisp while the hdmi and its adapter looks grainy. I had to resize the grainy one before because the screen was fitting incorrectly and now I notice it's grainy too. Any ideas?

make sure the cables are plugged in. What monitors do you have?
If you monitors are analog, the HDMI will not work.
It will be messed, because you are trying to go from digital to analog.

the problem is that HDMI itself is grainy on a TV and or monitor.when to use VGA cable to TV too computer the problem is non existent currently on my new TV I am forced to use HDMI however I'd like to see some of these discerning factors be eliminated an HDMI 2.0

They are 22 inch polaroid monitors. I don't know the exact models but they are different models for sure. I know that they can work properly with the equipment that I have because I bought this setup from a friend and they were working perfectly before we did a reset on the computer.

Try switching the monitors around.

When I tried switching the cables on the monitors, they both stayed black...

Disable dual screens. Then swap the monitors around.
