I got a new case for my system recently and everything is hunky dory except for one small problem. The case has two usb 3.0 ports on the front, but although my motherboard's website says it supports usb 3.0, there are only usb 2.0 connectors on the motherboard. This would be fine as I have found adapters for this, but for whatever reason the case takes both the usb 3.0 cables and combines them into one, and I can't find an adapter that takes usb 3.0 and turns it into TWO usb 2.0s. Any help is appreciated on this, but if there is no solution I can just buy an internal usb hub and be stuck with weird cables.

if your motherboard doesn't have he blue usb 3 header you need to use this adapter

https://www.amazon.com/SIENOC-Female-Motherboard-Housing-Adapter/dp/B00EOI3VC8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1500575594&sr=8-1&keywords=usb+3+to+2+adapter

i have used it in the past and works weell

as with any usb adapter you loose power so a usb hard disk or a usb dvd drive will not work as expected or at all in that port, it will work fine for charging smartphones and for usb drives like a thumbstick, no web cameras i would connect there
