Dual vs single channel ram

Hi, I was wondering if it would be better to have 1 stick of vengeance running at 1600 (single channel) or 2 sticks at 1066 runing dual channel which is better thanks dayto

i tweaked the the 1600s but its still a bit slower than what i would like i am getting another vengence so i am fine thanks

Wow! This is a false statement. Dual-channel works like a raid setup: a few bytes on first ram module, a few bytes on the other. The system reads or writes from both at the same time but it doesn't reads on one while it writes on the other...
