Dual xeon 2687w gaming issue

Hi,

im getting weird fps drops in games like crysis 3 (fps 70 to 1 fps) every 3 second, metro last light (fps 50- 20 every 5 second) in crysis 2 it happends every 5 minutes so that doesnt effect gameplay. i think its a cpu issue.
please suggest what could cause this high drop in fps whould help allot!

more likely a gpu prob. are you doing sli?

sli is enabled and even if it was disabled the single chip whould never drop the FPS to 1fps/total freeze

disable sli, and see if it still stutters

this is a common problem with sli. in the games that is stutters most, run it with sli off.
