Hey, everyone. I needed some help with a build I was thinking about organizing. The main purpose is to host a 75+ Minecraft Spigot server with plugins. These are my parts.

CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2670 @ 2.60GHz $105.74 (x2) ~$211.49
Motherboard: ASRock EP2C602-4L/D16 SSI EEB Dual-CPU LGA2011 $130
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO $29.99 (x2) ~$59.98
RAM: 4x4 GB G.Skill Ripjaws $50.99
PSU: Corsair CXM 550W $57.99
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case $84.99
SSD: Kingston A400 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $51.99

Total: $878.40

If there is anything I should change, please let me know. It would help me out if I could swap out any of these parts for a cheaper one.

Yes you could use 4 dimms. I don't know if those Ripjaws will work, those are gaming oriented DIMMs. I think (not sure) that you will still need a...
Two 8 core (plus hyperthreading) CPUs with 2 DIMMs is HORRIBLE configuration. You should optimally have 8 DIMMs and your stablest config will be using RAM that is on the vendor qualified list -- http://www.asrockrack.com/general/productdetail.asp?Model=EP2C602-4L/D16#Memory
You have to have a power supply with two ATX12V power plugs, your CXM doesn't. Most dual socket systems have 750W or above power supplies.

Sorry, I said I had 2 in my config when it was really 4.

It's too expensive for me. $1234? Hell no, not for me.

If I take out a CPU, could I settle for 4 DIMMs?

Yes you could use 4 dimms. I don't know if those Ripjaws will work, those are gaming oriented DIMMs. I think (not sure) that you will still need a different power supply even without the second CPU.
