dualgraphics or cpu plus gpu?

Hi,

I am planning to build a gaming pc, (amd based) I was thinking of going with the fx 6300 cpu with an saphire radeon R9 280 dual-x gpu or something. But i was thinking about apu's and dualgraphics. So if i changed the fx 6300 for an A10 apu series and still hold the gpu, would i get more fps in games?

No, between the two the 6300 and R9 280 would be alot better. Your best bet though is to go with a Intel I5, more performance per core in gaming.

Technically you can crossfire a AMD A-10 CPU with a R7 250(x) but the performance won't be nearly as good as the AMD 6300 with a R9 280.

The strongest option open to you is to go with the 6300 or if you can stretch to it the 8350 and pair that with an R9 280 (ideally the 280x version as those card kick a**).

Personally i love AMD CPUs but they are not known for their graphics which is why having a decent graphics card is key. Best of luck!
