Question Dualshock 4 v2 contoller turns of after a few seconds while connected

My Dualshock 4 v2 wont connect properly. ive managed to connect to my pc, but it only got a white light and turns of after a few seconds its connected. please help money is at stake

By any chance do you have the controller plugged in with a cable or are you connecting using wireless? Also are the games you are playing through the steam client?
