Hi all!

I have been looking into Internet but I still have dubts. My motherboad Z170 (CPU I7-6700K) has broken so I´m going to pick an AMD CPU. Provided that I want to change my PC in 5 years or so, I don´t know which cpu and motherboad combination should I pick. AMD 3700x (330€) is only 20 € cheaper than AMD 7 3800x (350€), so I will pick a 3600x(180€) or a 3800x. I play at 4k so I know the cpu is not that important. However, there are games like Assassin´c creed oddysey that consume to much CPU.
Moreover, I don´t know if I should pick motherboad ASUS X570 PRO (270€) or MSI B450 Tomahawk Max instead (or maybe MSI B450 Gaming plus) (120 €).

Maybe the best pick is AMD 7 3800x plus motherboad MSI B450 Tomahawk Max (because I don´t mean to change CPU in 5 years), but I´m not sure.

My specs are:

Power supply EVGA 750W 80 Plus Gold
Cooler CPU Phanteks TC14PE
RAM Avexir Core DDR4 2400 PC4-19200 2x8GB CL16
Graphic card Asus ROG Strix Geforce RTX 2080 Ti

Finally, would it be enough taking 3000 Mhz-3200 Mhz to the CPU´s or do I need 3600-4000Mz RAM´s?

Thank you!

Solution
For AMD 3200MHz would be fine, sometimes the prices are not that much more to get 3600MHz, so you could get this at a reasonable price.

I wouldn´t pair the 2080TI with less than a 3800x or Intel I7 9700K

A B450 motherboard with two M.2 slots @Around 100 to 120$ would be my choice

PCIe 4.0 is not necessary
