duct tape for cable management?

would duct tape be safe for tidying up the cables in my pc? (only for the front panel connectors not for any psu cables) I need something to keep the cables flat so I can close the case properly and I have plenty of duct tape so would it cause any damage to the wires over time from melting etc.?

I see no problem with duct tape.
Possibly the mess of future removal.
Do you have some of the little twist ties that come with parts?
