Hello,

So I can't figure out if I should invest in duel monitors so I want someone else's opinion.

Things that made me think about duel monitors:

-Like to have a game open whist on skype or youtube.

-Like to do h/w on Microsoft word whist watching a youtube video or on skype

Things that I think made me hesitant towards buying two monitors

-Lots of money

-Wont be live streaming or editing videos

Other things to consider:
is your GPU strong enough

Dual monitor display is cool but you don't need it. It's essentially a luxury, do you value your money or your computer experience more? If you aren't strapped for cash and your gpu is decent, go for it, but if you are having any sort of money problems I wouldn't personally do it

also, you need to make sure that the refresh rate for the two different monitors is about the same, or there can be some problems
If you're not gaming across both, get a cheap one as a secondary. Less than $100 and you can use it for your resources for anything you do while keeping open your project/game as needed.

For example, I keep markups on one screen as I make changes on the other. No switching between and saves me tons of time and increases accuracy.

I have a pair of 2560x1440, one is a tn panel (Acer xg270hu) and the other is IPS (from AoC, cannot remember the model #)

The Acer is for what little games I play and the other is for when I'm doing any real work. (Not documentation or coding) Skyrim on one and documents, web, etc on the other ... or Photoshop on the AoC and everything else on the other.

Works great with a 390, which has juice enough for a 3rd.

As for the lot's of money, yep it can be ... or, get a good primary monitor an a $99 24" 1080p from AoC (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/aoc-monitor-e2425swd) then when you can afford it replace the cheapie with a screen better than your primary and make that your primary. (Do that until you have a pair of 80" 8k panels ... That'll get respect! :)

I will be getting gtx 750ti so I think it is powerful enough. As for money, I can afford it its just that I think that when I do get a better computer, I will like to save up more money to buy things like games for it. If I were to get a 1080p monitor 60hz refersh rate and a 720p 60hz refresh rate will that cause an problems?
