I have two monitors hooked up to a 6870. First one is a 24in ASUS 1920x1080, the second display is 19in 1024x768.

What I wanted to do was game on the 24in monitor an be able to check my fb and stuff on the second monitor. Whenever I enter a full screen game, it moves all the applications on the second monitor around.

My questions are,

1.How can I stop it from moving the applications.

2.How can I play a game on the 24in monitor, and alternate to the second one to check my fb (while im in the game)

I am in the same boat. 1920x1200 and 1280x1024.

not really. One thing i have noticed is that when i game on my 1920x1200 the other display will stay the same if the game is set to 1920x1200 also. If for whatever reason, like the game is old and doesn't support my native resolution then my little screen will move stuff around.
