Well, I have started to take up a hobby. Which at the moment is to make PVC bows. My current one which I jerry rigged together is just a 5ft tall 3/4 size pvc (inside diameter). I have kept it rather stock, so all it is straight in length with notches that I filed out for the string a good inch or so down from top and bottom. However it is a little bit light on the draw. Im guessing around 25 - 30 lbs. Now my question is if there is any method to strengthen it, or if there is any pvc size that would fit tightly inside it as to strengthen the bow and give it more poundage. (and yes I did cut the string a good 4 inchs shorter than the combined notches length on the bow).
Im a real cheapo, and just want to get this right, any advice is helpful!
