I have the 1080ti and the Asus ROG 27" IPS monitor (g-sync) and was wondering if all I have to do is right click on desktop, click NVIdia, display and enable gsync windowed and full screen games. It has 2560x1440 but refresh rate was showing 60mhz...so I changed it to 144. Also, on my screen settings it was showing 60 but the OC wasn't enabled. My screen does go to 165 (OC). Do I set the OC to 165 also on my monitor? ANy other settings I should change. I did lower the brightness; it seemed so bright it was lighting my whole room up lol

Yeah that's all you do to enable g sync. That's one of the great things about it; It's easy to use and works well. In terms of OC, there really isn't a difference between 144 and 165. You will likely not even notice it. Overclocking displays can also decrease the life of the monitor. In some cases it voids the warranty, unless they say you can overclock.

That's it? I'm surprised. Yeah, I downloaded the drivers/display from Asus' website for my monitor and followed the instructions. NVidia display changed from generic monitor to mine- PG279Q and 2560x1440. It did show refresh rate 60 but clicking the drop down menu, I saw 144 so I clicked that and apply. The monitors specs do say 165 rapid refriesh rate- turbo key (showing 165)
