When using a discrete GPU you can just ignore the ports on the motherboard, it will function just the same.

of course! it's been 1 week of full time searching for mobo and compatible memkits, deciding which cpu and new cooler that im totally burned out. I totally forgot that in fact is the videocard itself that holds the dp output. Thanks Gam3r01. Please close or delete this thread.
