Items that have been duplicated. I'm guessing you're asking because of
the stuff that happened last week on Neopets? This site explains it
better and in more detail than I can:

On that subject, are all the duped items gone? I still have some lab map
pieces sitting in my trade with a note for TNT to get rid of them if
they're duped. Not sure if I should sell them yet.

well that wasnt why i was asking actually... i had a birthday at roughly
that time and wasnt online for a few days and completely missed the whole
thing! never saw the stuff in shops nor got sent anything

but that page doesnt say whether theres actually any difference between a
real item and a duped item, other than how it was created... ?

As far as I know, there isn't a difference. That's how TNT knows what to
clean from the system. Each item has it's own ID number, like each
individual Tyoras Tear. But when the item is duped, all the duped ones
have the same number as the original. So TNT has to go through the system
and delete any items that have the same numbers.

I've heard you can use the duped items, people painted pets with the duped
paint brushes, for example. But I also heard some of the items were
unusable, so that's one way the duped item might differ from the real
item.
