[SOLVED] Duplicate a 27 monitor to a 43 TV... how do you set separate resolutions?

So I ended up with my main display being a 27 inch monitor but I would like to use the 43 inch TV for playing movies etc. I can't see the main monitor when sitting on the couch, so the "duplicate" configuration would be the ideal one for me. Problem is I end up with a very ow resolution on the second screen.

Is there a way to do this?

BTW, graphic card is a Nvidia GTX 1050 and the second display is plugged to the displayport with a displayport-to HDMI adapter.

You can't. Duplicate means - all is duplicated (resolution also).

If you want to use different resolutions, then use extend mode instead.

When duplicating both screens use the same resolution. You can not use different resolutions when using the duplicate option, only extended desktop will allow you to set different resolutions for the displays.

BTW - what are resolutions for your monitor and TV ?

Nvidia drivers allow setting common resolution for duplicated screens to higher resolution from both. Then image on lower resolution screen gets automatically downscaled.

Smaller screen is 1980x1080, the bigger one is 4096x2160...
