Question Duplicate monitors with differesnt res

I have a 1440p monitor and a 1080p drawing tablet. I have both displays duplicated but the 1080p tablet is forcing 1440p from the monitor. I don't want to extend them I just want to know if I can downsample the tablet to display 1080p somehow. I've messed around with nvidia control panel and the windows 10 display setting but can't find a solution. Thanks in advance.
