Question Duplicate power on/off button of MELE minipc

I need to turn on / off it through another button
which cannot be the one included in the original case.
the original power on button has a little pcb cart connectet to mother board through one multiwire connector.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You will need to remove the harness that tethers to the PCB/motherboard and then short the pins till you find which two pins are responsible for powering up the NUC/mini system. IMHO, what you're trying to do is moot as it goes beyond specs of the mini pc.

Thank you Lutfij. I know, but there isn't other way because new case has own power on button.
When I got this minipc I already knew that I would have to completely break it down. I'm making a network audio streamer with a case that has a hi-fi form factor. On this forum I read about the possibility of some BIOS setting that automatically restarts the PC at each power failure. It could be a solution because this condition can be handled with the new button. Could you tell me which BIOS setting it is precisely?

one of those black wires should have 5 volts even when PC is turned off, thats your power button, short it with ground to power up mainboard

I fixed it by setting automatic reboot in bios. This option is perfect for my application
