i used potplayer , windows media player and km player

in all of them some of the speakers wont work , i tried changing stuff in their setting but still no luck

also i'm using creative T7900 (its 7.1) and since its way too old , i couldnt find any driver for it

and again , they ALL work fine when i use test ( in control panel > sound )

Thanks to Dolby requiring payment for licensing of their codecs, Windows is not equipped with these codecs. It sees all seven speakers because they're plugged into the card, but the media players don't use them because they don't know how.

The only programs for Windows that will use all seven speakers are ones where the devs have paid for the Dolby licensing which doesn't happen too often.

what does this mean ?
do you know any program that can actually play all of them ? or at least 5 ?!

using onboard sound card of VIII hero (m.b)
and im pretty sure it supports 7.1

also if by source you mean the music it self , i tried different types of music , from 320Kbps to DSD !!

When listening to music try changing the mode on the stereo. Usually there are modes which just uses all speakers in a mono mode, simulated surround and stereo modes. Just flip through the speaker modes while playing music to find the best option.

i dont care if its free or not , do you know any non free software ?
