Hello, I am ready to upgrade. About a week ago I enabled TPM via the BIOS of my Gigabyte Z390 motherboard. Windows Update showed that Windows 11 is an upgrade option. However, I did not choose it immediately. After 2-3 days, it disappeared.

I just went to Microsoft page to download the Windows 11 Installation Assistant. It showed that my PC is eligible to upgrade but during setup, it stated "This PC doesn't currently meet Windows 11 system requirements" and the reason is "The PC must support TPM 2.0".

Do you know what is wrong?

I am using Z390 AORUS XTREME (rev. 1.0). The BIOS Version is F4 and the Date is 12/04/2018. I have never updated the BIOS as I was told not to do it if everything is working.

While I was checking the information for you, I noticed that PPT somehow got disabled even I enabled it. I re-enable it, saved and exited but upon botting to Windows 10, it still states that there is no TPM.

Under BIOS>Peripherals,
TPM2.0 UEFI Spec Version TCG_2
Physical Presence Spec Version 1.3
TPM 2.0 Interface Type: PTT

Not sure if this is related, since I enabled PTT, the login prompt takes longer, say about 12 seconds, to show up after the background wallpaper is shown.

It seems that I have to enable Secure Boot so I went to the BIOS. When I tried to enable it, the BIOS showed:

"Disable the CSM in Setup. Repeat Operation after Reboot to ensure UEFI Video (GOP) driver is operational"

"Secure Boot activated when Platform Key (PK) is enrolled, System Mode is User/Deployed, and CSM function is disabled."

I have no idea what these area. What do they mean? There is no Setup tab in the BIOS but I encountered CSM somewhere else and it is disabled already.

After I updated the BIOS to the latest version, the entire BIOS menu changed. I made the corresponding changes but Windows Update just stated that "You're up to date". I ran PC Health Check and it said that my PC meets Windows 11 requirements.

I tried to use Windows11 Installation Assistant to force the system to update it and it seems to be working. It is installing now.
