[SOLVED] During Zoom Meetings, Mute Keeps going On And I Nobody Can Hear Me

I have been using Zoom, Webex and Skype on my Windows 7 64 bit Pro desktop computer for several months with no problem.
Suddenly, for no apparent reason, the audio on my end stopped working. Nobody can hear me although I can see and hear them with no problem.
If I click on "unmute" at the bottom of the screen, it defaults back to "mute."
I have checked all the settings in "sound" and everything seems to be working properly.
Can someone help me with this?

Try switching your microphone in the settings menu of the meeting app to your default one

Which microphone are you using? Is it still connected correctly?
Did you mute it by a hotkey or hardware switch on the mic?
