Duron 800 CPU Usage

I have a Duron 800, K7-1.31 Raid motherboard, 128mb of RAM. I try to run Media Player or the WinTv Tv turner, this causes my CPU usage to be 100% which causes the audio to drag and media to freeze. Will upgrading to 256mb of RAM solve this problem or any suggestions

Doesn't sound right to me. I would first check your CPU usage before you start, If it is high then work out what else is chewing CPU.

I was having problems with my Celeron 400, reinstalled windows and the CPU usage dropped like a rock.
