I've been doing a bit of research into dust filters for the computer and it appears there are quite a few options. I'm just curious what everyone here uses. I think the options cover most of the filters out there...I've turned on the option to select more than one filter type.

I just use the filters which came with my case, NZXT Blackline. From the amount of dust I clear off of them every month or two they seem to do a good job.

I've got the HAF 932. I just use the stock filters. Overall, I'm pretty happy with them. I wipe off the filters every couple months, and give the whole inside a thorough cleaning once or twice a year. I've got 2 cats, so I have to clean it fairly often.

HAH, 5 cats wouldn't compare to my ~100ib German Shepard. I can't sweep the house without cleaning out the internal basket at least twice. One of my fans died because it had so much dog hair wrapped around it, despite my best efforts.

I'm lazy. Its a lot easier to clean filters which takes like 5 minutes rather than opening the whole case and cleaning things individually :).

I check the adds at the local store for sponges. The thin ones, multi pack. Cut to size. Great for plugging up holes or unwanted small openings into the case. One pack has enough for a throw away solution if you are not into the fuss of washing them out. Lifetime supply is dobale with a couple of rolls of change.

The air filters are not on special this week, but if you need a back pack can't beat the price. Could probably slice the back up and make enough filters to last till the case was so grimey a garden hose attached to a power washer wouldn't touch it.

Most of the time I'm lazy and use jsc's excellent filter solution. :sol:
