Dusting tip needed

Should I go for canned air or air compressor that I have at home, I am afraid compressor is too powerful and may damage something but on the other hand canned air can get cold if you are not careful. What's the best solution?

canned air, not that air compressor for tires or something please.

Definitely not a compressor, high risk of water droplets, and it's overkill anyway.

Canned air & wear a glove.

If you leave the valve open to let the air out each time and let the tank inside dry and you have an pressure adjustment/or air nozzle with trigger you can gently press then theres no harm in using it. If you leave the valve closed there will be water inside.

I use compressor from the garage to clean my PCs but yeah i do with i said above.

Otherwise compressed air in a can to be sure.

I use a relatively small compressor but it does have water separator, if it's good enough for painting, it will be good enough for cleaning. Pistol for cleaning has 4psi restriction, in most places it's the law.
For lite cleaning of dust, turbine compressor for blowing air mattresses and boats has about same pressure and volume as air can but it's much cheaper in the long run.

I use my shop vac with a tip end.... why blow when you can suck it with 5HP out of the case in 2 mins flat

I've doing this for years, I did this for a living. Once I open up a box that was servicing a whole lab, and without unplugging it, I proceeded to vacuum it, DUMB I know, that was just for laughs (true story though), but household vacuum is all I use, too strong, so pull back the nozzle a bit, you have control. The dust has to go SOMEWHERE. Sometimes compressed air helps but that dislodges the dust, I tend to use compressed air when I can turn the circuit board upside down, blow and let the dust fall. Dust will stick to fans/heatsinks, to do a complete jobs, those needs a stiff brush.

My final suggestion is, don't obsess about it, unless it's real bad, is been 3 years, or you are in a very dusty environment, you may wanna leave it alone.
