DV CARDS

Can anyone please recommend me a pretty good dv card, thats not too expensive (under $200), but that also supports a wide variety of Dv components.

Some of those are hi8, minidv, s-vhs, vhs etc., etc..
It must support firewire and USB.

I've considered adobe premiere for the software, but is there anything else as software?
For the card, i've considered the studio dv or studio 7.

I'de really appreciate any insight that anyone can give me, thanks in advance....

Fire wire/DV is one thing. USB is diferant.
You will not find a card that can do them both. USB normaly is on board the computr, DV/Fire Wire OHCI card is normaly a addon.
you can get a card like this for 25$.

Next is the Analog sources you want to use. This will not work from a DV card. You will need a Video capture card with Analog in for them.

Now not to mix the DV format with names, look for the Pinnacle " DV500+ " card.
