DV Time/Date

I understand that the time and date is stored in the DV AVI file and was
wondering if there is a tool that can show that time and/or date as an
overlay (like the old analog cameras used to do) using an NLE program.

It seems that there is a Premiere add-on availible at:
dve.nm.ru/en/dvrecdate.html
(The link was dead when I tried it a minute ago though...)
