DVD/CD issues

Hello,

my laptop's dvd/cd writer doesn't burn images and sometimes doesn't read dvds. what could be the problem?

Um, AlienTechGod, I don't think that that drive would fit in a laptop, or that it has a USB connection. godfreypal (gee, there are a lot of gods in this thread), you could just buy a generic external USB drive, or get a replacement from the manufacturer. Internal laptop drives tend to be specific to a small set of models, and more expensive.
