dvd door will not open

Hi,

Here are some steps that may help.
- First is to check in Computer explorer if your DVD drive is listed.
- Right click on it and select Eject.
- If it will still not work you may need to manually open the DVD drive.
- There's a manual eject hole onto the DVD drive door.

Either no power is getting to the drive. You can open it with the little hole in the front. Insert a paperclip and press...it's a spring loaded switch inside. Press it can and keep pressing further and you'll slide the drive open as your pressing. You can do this with the power off.
