I have an LG external USB DVD Drive. When I put in a disk and attempt to view it's contents in Windows Explorer, all it does is endlessly chatter, and in Explorer it says "working on it" with the status bar maxed out (green bar) with the content never displaying.
It's a commercial game DVD. The only way I can access the installer is to unplug the DVD reader from the USB, and let it be re-recognized to be able to setect the game setup application from the "What to do with when ..." dialogue prompts. The only way I can stop the DVD Reader from "reading" is to unplug it from the USB Port, or to eject it.
What would cause this?
