Try the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter -

If that doesn't help, I would suggest you to remove and reinstall the existing drivers and then check. To do this, follow these steps:
1. ClickStart, and then click Control Panel.
2. ClickSystem and Maintenance, click System, and then clickDevice Manager.
Note If Control Panel is in Classic View, double-click System, and then clickDevice Manager.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or clickAllow.
3. In Device Manager, expandDVD/CD-ROM drives, right-click the CD and DVD devices, and click onproperties. Now under the driver tab clickUninstall.
4. When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, clickOK.
5. Restart the computer.
After the computer restarts, the drivers will be automatically installed.
Check if you have any exclamation or cross marks along with the driver listed in device manager.
If the issue persists follow the above procedure as provided and under the driver tab click on update driver and check if you get any recommended drivers from windows. Refer to the below mentioned link for further assistance to update the driver:
