Dvd driver for win.xp media player

Hello,
i am using windows xp,recently i have installed samsung dvd writer.media player gives a msg"compatible dvd driver is not installed.from where can i download the same?

the samsung DVD writer should have come with a disk, the disk has the driver, if there is one. your antivirus should be turned off when you load samsung software.
If not, look up your unit by model number on the samsung website, see if there is any software
OR, delete and re-install latest version of media player, that may also help configure the hardware or driver

DVD writer drivers usually packed with windows, once you added new dvd drive windows will automatically install drivers, but some rare cases you have to go for manufacturer website for updated drivers

in windows XP (SP3) media player not work with play DVD ! use software Power DVD from Cyberlink Good !

SAMSUNG DVD Drive very compatible & driver installation from OS,
when u play MPEG2, DVD or movie have basic MPEG2 in xp media player cannot play because WMplayer not have CODEC MPEG2.
so... u must install software dvd player DivX/POWER DVD etc..!

Needs DVD Decoder. Remember, DVD's are encrypted with DeCSS.

Media Player gave this error because M$ is too cheap to pay royalties on DVD decoders.
Do as henydiah said, Get Cyberlink Power DVD.... HERE.
