DVD non performance

I am unable to play dvd on my pc

Will it play any disks at all -- like CDs for music?

If yes, you probably just need a good video player, like VLC Media Player.

If not, replace the drive they are very inexpensive. Just take the old one out first and make sure to get the same type IDE or SATA and note any jumper settings if it is IDE.
