DVD regions - how to burn a CD in Europe

Hello! My film has been selected in a USA festival and I have to send a Blu Ray copy of it, Region 0 or 1, NTSC. I live in Europe and found a Verbatim Blu Ray disc, BD-RE, 25 MB, version 2.1. I have learned that the US and Europe have different DVD regions, so a Europe DVD cannot be played in the USA and vice-versa. Is there any way to convert my movie, burn it to the disc or anything else - in order to make my movie be played in America? Please help! Thank you!

Whatever program you use to burn the disk should have options to set the region. I think they are set to region free. The Region issue is mostly for pre-made movies like you buy at a store.
