i have a LG8160b dvd-rom on my pc and when i play a film with powerdvd or windvd the film's audio isn't correct
there's a lots of jitter.
my soundcard is onboad(ac'97) and i have kt133via chipset with an athlon 1333?where could be problem?
p.s. if i rip the dvd and i make divx the audio is correct.
please help me!

Is DMA enabled for the secondary IDE channel and the devices?

I believe ryan was not talking about the IDE channel but was rather referring to the actual audio cable (way smaller than IDE ribbon) that connects to the motherboard (if you have onboard sound) or the sound card (if you use a PCI card).
