Some DVD ROMs cannot see some disks. Have you tried another disk? You may also want to visit the DVD-ROM's manufacturer to see if there are hardware updates available. If so, you could try updating the hardware.

going on what your title says, you can get dvd drive lens cleaners, its just a disk with small lint free brushes, you should give that ago if your having trouble reading disks.
