My DVD drive will play CD-ROMS and will play DVD movies, but when a
DVD-ROM games disc (Battle for Middle Earth) was inserted it was not
recognised my PC spec. meets that required for this game but I would
have thought that it would be recognised by the DVD drive even if it
wasn't. Help cause at the moment this game is useless!

Hi Malcolm,

It's possible the DVD disc is at fault.
Test it on another system to find out.
