DVD Writer when connect power to MatherBoards sometime it is working and not working.

Hello,

Details about my computer.

MatherBoards : Intel D945GCNL
HDD : 1TB WD WD10EZRZ HDD
SSD : Kingston ssd v300 120g.
CPU : Intel Core2Duo E6700

When i connect dvdwritter power sata cable connect to MatherBroads then sometime it work fine but some time when I start my computer. It do not start and wait for more time...

When I removed power cable for dvdwriter it start working.

Dont know what is happening.. Please suggest ...

1) Try a different SATA cable.
2) Try a different SATA port.

If both of those solutions still cause the problem, then your drive is dying.

also change the sata power cable, to discard problems with the power cable connector, it is not comon but not impossible
