DVDRW IDE1008 ATA drivers

I had my PC go down because my video card went. After installing a new card and installing a new update system cd.I had to start all my programs again. after a day or so my dvdrw loose their conection to system ???? I've downloaded the driver fixes but they all want you to buy theur programs .they do nothing?

You are downloading your drivers from the wrong/bad sources.

The DVDRW driver is provided by Microsoft in the Vista Installation DVD.

Recommend you check your Device Manager.
Are any of the devices showing a bad installed device?
