Dvds not burning anymore

Hello,
i am using a hp pavillion notebook and found that i can no longer burn dvds. Cds still burn ok.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

Are you using different disc's
Are you using different software?
Are you Burning different file types?
Have you have any recent updates?
Are you using Roxio?
