Ok... I have 2 questions if anyone can answer them I would really appretiate it!

First... I play games... which is better to use... analog or DVI connection? I have a sony sdmhs74p monitor i just picked up.
analog will support up to 75hz dvi 60hz

Second... I play battlefield vietname and it does not seem to support 1280 x 1024 resolution... but i keep seeing people who say they are playing it at that. How is this possible.... to anyone who might play it anyway.

Intel P4 3.0
Intel p865gbfl
2x512 Samsung Dual channel
WD 80gb 8mb cache SE hard drive
ATI Radeon 9800 pro
X-superalien case w/500w PS

I don't have any technical reason that either one is better but on my friend's Dell 22" LCD the DVI gave it a much better picture. It doesn't seem like either one would be better than the other but I have seen that DVI looked nicer so... I guess go with DVI.
I don't think the refresh rate really matters on an LCD because it doesn't have any electron guns where higher scanning rate would improve picture/performance. I'm no LCD master but I don't think there is much or any difference between 75 and 60hz on LCD's.

the refresh rate doesnt matter as much for LCD screens, 60 hz will not flicker due to the diff technology used...

as for the res, it prob can be forced, depending on SW

Trust me I know what I'm doing... ooops, grab the cat...
