yes, but iirc dvi is capped at 1920x1080 resolution.

any port on your GPU can each run 1 monitor. be it dvi, dp, hdmi, vga (what was last gpu to have a vga port)

It isn't.
Single link DVI is limited to 1,920×1,200@60, 2560×1600@30Hz.
Dual link DVI is limited to 2,560×1,600@60, 3,840×2,400@30Hz.
